"Cable in the Classroom" is a cable industry initiative that has been providing resources to enhance the classroom learning experience for both educators and students alike for over 20 years. Recent updates to the www.ciconline.org website have further expanded the potential for making content-rich cable and broadband resources and programming available to all Madison subscribers. As a participant in this initiative, Madison has provided free cable services and print material to local school districts, and is now promoting the new web-based tools available through the enhanced website to encourage adoption of this valuable resource. The site is specifically designed to promote “Digital Citizenship,” “Educational Programming and Online Content,” and “Broadband Access and Applications."
